Compulsory Insurance includes -

Car Insurance - Anyone who owns or drives a car on the public road has to have at least a third party insurance cover according to the law. This insurance covers your liability for injuries to other people, their property and their cars, which may be caused by the use of your car on the public road. A majority of the people opt for third party insurance that covers the liabilities mentioned above. Employee Insurance - If you run a business you have to legally have Employer's Liability Insurance that covers the liabilities for your employees against any hazards or accidents arising out of working for you.

The "Other Insurance" category includes the following -

House Contents policy - Content Insurance covers all the movable objects that you have in your home for loss or damage caused by specific events and occurrences. Thefts, vandalism or any such damage can cause a huge financial loss, hence insuring the contents of your home makes it easier to claim the costs of your possessions during such untoward instances.
